Youth on Gobind Marag, YOGM (7 – 17 years old)
‘Gobind Marag’ means ‘The Divine’s Path’. As the name of the class states, YOGM classes aim to introduce to the students ‘The Divine’s Path’ and encourage the youth to walk on the Path. This is done through: • Sharing the virtue-rich Sakhis about the Guru Sahibans • Meditation Sessions • Sharing inspirational autobiographies of people from various backgrounds • Monthly Gurbani Jaap challenge • Question and answer sessions • Other spirituality and self-development related discussions Students are separated by age group for YOGM classes. Most of the activities in YOGM class focus on encouraging the students to practice meditation through which their spiritual foundation is built. As the students become more acquainted with meditation, they move towards realizing and experiencing Gurbani at an even greater depth. Hence, both the YOGM and Gurmukhi classes come hand-in-hand to fulfill the purpose of setting the students off on a path towards realizing and experiencing Gurbani at great depths.
